La Volata Pizzeria is a wood-fire pizza restaurant that sits comfortably in the dining scene of Redlands, blending a relaxed yet lively atmosphere with an emphasis on thoughtfully crafted dishes. Located on Ford Street, it offers a well-curated menu that goes beyond classic pizza to include inventive pastas, fresh salads, and interesting small plates like a cheese and charcuterie plate or roasted mushroom medley. This is a place for people who appreciate a pizza with a perfectly thin, crisp crust alongside options like vegan pasta or a rich butternut ricotta ravioli.

Visitors often come in groups to share and sample a variety of flavors, making it a go-to spot for casual gatherings with friends or family lunches. The kitchen’s attention to detail shows in dishes like the short rib ragu or the vodka sauce pasta, each offering balanced, bold flavors without overwhelming the palate. Sandwiches and salads round out the menu well, catering to lighter midday meals, with offerings such as the charred broccolini panino standing out for those looking for something a bit different.

The atmosphere leans toward trendy but approachable, fitting for afternoons or early evenings when a mix of locals and visitors come in for everything from a quick lunch to a more lingering dinner experience. Service is noted to be friendly and accommodating, complementing the place’s comfortable buzz. Coffee here is espresso-based without unlimited refills, matching the restaurant’s focus on quality over quantity.

For those who enjoy pairing their meal with craft beer or cocktails, the spot offers local brews and thoughtfully designed drinks that enhance the dining experience. While prices can be on the higher side, the quality of ingredients—often local and fresh—and the complexity of the dishes support the value. The wood-fire pizzas, with their attention to thin crust technique, stand as a highlight for anyone seeking a flavorful, artisanal take on a classic.

Overall, La Volata Pizzeria fits well for diners who want more than just standard pizza fare, with an environment that’s lively yet not overwhelming, making it an inviting slice of Redlands’ modern food culture.

I came in with a group of 12 and we ordered a little bit of everything to share. Every single dish I tasted was delicious, unique, and clearly made with care. Their pizza is an absolute staple—perfect crust, great flavor. The vodka sauce pasta had the perfect level of spice and was easily one of my favorites of the night. We also tried their seasonal ricotta which was a perfect app, the meatballs, and a handful of other dishes, and nothing missed. The cocktails were just as impressive. The Old Fashioneds were perfectly balanced and a great complement to the meal. Overall, incredible food, great drinks, and a fun atmosphere—everyone in our group walked out impressed. Highly recommend.

Best tasting dishes in Redlands by far. Tried a few pizzas and pastas along with some appetizers and everything was absolutely delicious. Service was very nice and all the servers were very nice and accommodating. Overall a very good experience!

My parents and I were looking for somewhere to have lunch on a Saturday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised when we discovered Fiora Pizzeria has a lunch service! We stopped in and the staff were very friendly and patient. I ordered the Charred Broccolini Panino with the butternut squash soup of the day. Both the sandwich and the soup were incredible! Such unique flavors, so fresh and extremely delicious. My parents also loved their food and our appetizer of roasted garlic and toast was delicious as well. I appreciated how all the staff were friendly and kind not only with us but with each other as well. We will definitely be returning!

A bit pricey but they were friendly and the drinks were strong. Their pizza is THIN crust so be aware of that in case you don't like that type but they are one of the few places that actually does Thin Crust right and tasty. COFFEE is not unlimited as it is espresso style. They have a lively atmosphere and seems to be very popular. It may not be for everyone as it seems to be more on the trendy side but I felt fine being there when I went. It's a good place if you want that Thin Crust Pizza done right!

Flora, previously La Volita is still a favorite! Delicious wood fire pizza paired with a tap beer or Bump it to sophistication with a delicious ribeye and craft cocktail. Fresh local produce and meat.

The place is nice and gives romantic/chill vibes. It's dimly light in some areas but nice and bright by the bar. I made a reservation for dinner place got seated as soon as I arrived. The food is okay and a bit pricey for the portion. The pizza is thin crust but it has flavor. They drinks are great and the mixologist gives great suggestions. There's plenty of beer on tap. I would come here again to try something new.

Whatever looks good to you, get it because it will be delicious. Went there today for pretty much the first time (I got takeout when it was La Volata during the height of the pandemic and everything was good then too). We started out by ordering the citrus marinated olives and the garlic confit which comes with bread and these two dishes complemented each other well. Then we shared a margherita pizza which was perfect for two people and was delicious. However, the star of the show that was our dinner was the skillet cookie dessert we had. They had 3 flavors and we opted for the strawberry cornbread which was really more of a cake but all the same it was delicious. Maybe the most delicious dessert I've ever had at a restaurant. The strawberry in the dessert was bright and a little tangy, the cornbread flavor was mild but more interesting than just a vanilla flavores cake. The gelato on top was delicious too. The staff was so sweet and the vibes were really good—chill but a little upscale in the sense that if you wanted to dress up and go on a date night here, it's the perfect spot. Fiora is a GEM!
